Search History:

You have come again to search for something you had searched for some time back but can't just exactly remember the keywords??... No Worries!!... Just click on the Deepy's 'Show my search history' option and it instantly shows your Search History with the Date and Time of search and the number of results found... from the search history, double-click on the keyword you were looking for... and doing that will automatically fire the search to quickly get your results. Advanced Search:

Looking to make a much defined search??... Simply hit the Deepy's 'Show more search options' link and you instantly get to easily define whether you want to look for all of your keyword, any of them, or for the exact phrase you used, etc., and you can also restrict your search to a single URL and also to sites that are linked to that URL, among a few other options that will definitely make your search much more definitive. TextShot View:

Think that the Snippet provided with the Search Results is not enough for you to determine whether the site contains the information you are looking for?.... and that your time is wasted having to open each site in the results in a new window to check whether or not it actually has the content you are looking for?... don't feel that no more... as Deepy is changing things for you... Deepy provides the traditional view of search results, where you get to see the Title, the Snippet, and the URL of each site in the results, along with that it also provides a "View TextShot" link, by clicking on which you can see the TextShot. View of individual Search Results, which appears in the lower half of your Browser Window and shows the relevant text content of the site instantly, without opening the site itself... this makes it a lot faster and easier for you to surf through your search results to locate the information that interests you... and you don't ever have to leave the original window in order to do all that... and what more?... TextShot comes with a whole set of features to assist you:

  • Find On this Page: You see your keywords in colored formation on the left side of the toolbar at the top of your TextShot view?... they are buttons to locate the actual instances of the keywords on the current page in the TextShot view... you can click on the word from here for which you want to check its instance on the current page and it will automatically show you its succeeding instances on the page with a border around it and assigns a different color to each word in your keywords, so that you can easily identify each word.
  • Load Full Site: Satisfied with the text content of one of the search results by viewing the TextShot View of it and want to see the page as it appears on the original website?.... Click on the 'Load Full Site' button from of the toolbar at the top of your TextShot view... and it will open original webpage within the same window and you will still have the toolbar of the TextShot View available on the top to still allow you easily do actions like Zoom-in, Zoom-out, Find Keyword on the page, etc.
  • Expand/Collapse: Clicking the 'Expand' button makes the Quick TextShot View expand, to the full size of the browser, and when in the expanded form, clicking the 'Collapse' button restores the TextShot View to its original size.
  • Zoom-in/Zoom-out: ...the last two buttons at the right side of the toolbar at the top of your TextShot view... the first one with a '+' sign: clicking it zooms in on the content of the page and keeps increasing the size of the entire displayed content within the Quick TextShot view with each click... and the next one with a '-': clicking it does the reverse action to the Zoom-in button and keeps on reducing the size of the entire content in the Quick TextShot view with each additional click. Tabbed Paging:

..this is what saves you and your time from always opening a new browser window in order to see the next batch of your search results lying on the next page... with Deepy's tabbed paging the entire set of search result pages are all tabbed at the bottom of the browser window... clicking on these numbered tabs at the bottom of the window you can easily and instantly move among all the search results pages... and see that 'Forward' button on the extreme right end of the tabs... you can simply use that when you need to move forward among the tabs... and then if you want to go back to earlier tabs... you will find a 'Back' button on the extreme left end of the tabs, clicking which will allow you do just that. Image Search

Looking to find images published on the internet?... come to Deepy's Image Search... enter your keywords for search...consider spelling recommendations from Deepy's real time spelling recommender... hit the search button and you will be heading to the Deepy Image Search Results page, where you will see results shown as thumbnails of the images... when you click on anyone of the thumbnails from the Search Results a new Image Preview Pane will open up for you in the lower half of the same Browser Window to show the full original page with the image... the Image Preview Pane will also show you the Image Size, Image Dimensions, Image URL, and you would be able to click the button labeled 'Expand' to make the Image Preview Pane expand to the full size of the browser, and when in the expanded form, click on the button labeled 'Collapse' to restore the Image Preview Pane to its original size... when you are done with the image in the Preview Pane just click on the button marked with a cross, 'X', and Image Preview Pane will hide from your view.
